All Natural Plant Food with Bio-tone® Microbes

Flower-tone is a premium flower food that is low in nitrogen and higher in phosphorous and potassium to maintain good plant growth and promote blooms rather than heavy foliage. Flower-tone's natural organics breakdown gradually providing a safe, long lasting food reservoir activated throughout the growing season. Flower-tone's all natural formula now contains Bio-tone®, our proprietary blend of beneficial microbes. Bio-tone biologically enhances our natural plant food to ensure superior plant growth.

New Plantings

Seeds:
Amend the top 4-5 inches of soil with compost, humus, or peat moss.
Plant seeds to recommended depth.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Flower-tone over the covered seed.
Water thoroughly and add mulch to retain moisture.

Transplants:
Gently remove plant from its container.
Dig a hole no greater than the size of the root ball.
Remove 1/3 of the soil and replace it with compost, peat moss or humus.
Loosen roots and spread them into the hole.
Mix 2 tablespoons of Flower-tone into amended soil and fill it back in the hole.
For larger plants (1-2 gallon container) mix 1/2 cup with the amended soil.
Watering thoroughly and add mulch to retain moisture.

 

Established Plants

Feed monthly from the beginning of the growing season until the middle of September.

Individual Plants:
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of Flower-tone around the plant like adding salt and pepper to food.
Be certain the Flower-tone is not in contact with foliage or plant stem.
Water thoroughly and add mulch to retain moisture.

Flower Beds:
Broadcast evenly at a rate of 4 lbs. per 80 square feet.
Be certain the Flower-tone is not in contact with foliage or plant stem.
Water thoroughly.
